Are you serious? Do you really think I can remember everything that has happened since Dead Yeti's inception? I can't remember a whole lot. I remember almost everything that happened, except not much of it. Here's what I know, in a time line sort of thing.

1991: Dead Yeti formed. Just Mr. Tambourine Head on guitar and Cow Boris on vocals and kazoo. 'Melvin' was the only song they had.
1991: Bookworm joins on drums. Chris Henderson joins on keyboards/keyboard bass. Yes, the bass was a keyboard.
1992: Dead Yeti put out their first cassette, 'For Those of You Illiterate.' It was recorded at Mr. Tambourine Head's garage studio.
1992: Dead Yeti send their tape to local record label Jonathan Michael Records. 2 weeks later JMR's phone is disconnected.
1992: April 4th - DY plays their first gig, at a house party. Ugly Kid Joe and Red Hot Chili Peppers covers are played. DY plays for 5
hours. The invitation reads, 'If you're a prep, don't come. Smoking makes you pregnant. Usually in Russia, though.'
1992: Mr. Tambourine Head leaves Dead Yeti. Quoted from the letter Mr. Tambourine Head sent to the remaining 3 members:
"First of all, Dark Harmony. Put yourself in Dan's shoes. How do you think you would feel if a member of a band you've been in
for 2-3 years joins another group in addition to your own, and that group becomes more popular than than the first?...Secondly
I am spreading myself out too thin. I am in the school orchestra, the Houston Youth Symphony, bass lessons, two bands, jazz
band, freelance bass gigs, I need to spend time with Kate and keep up with 7 social circles."
1992: April 20 - DY releases their 2nd album, and last with Mr. Tambourine Head, 'Right Next to the Veal.'
1992: Doodlebug answers an ad in Houston's Public News (4/29/1992). The ad reads: "Punk and insane outfit Dead Yeti searching for
guitarist with experience. Must enjoy loud music and screwed lyrics. Carrots are a plus. Good attitude and no drugs. We have
gigs lined up. Age 14-16, please." Upon the first phone conversation Cow Boris ever has with Doodlebug he learns that
Doodlebug has recently been expelled from high school for 'fighting with blacks.' Doodlebug lasts one rehearsal.
1992: The Dickless Cowboy joins on guitar. Cow Boris never really likes The Dickless Cowboy.
1992: June 2 - Dead Yeti lands their first gig at a club, at Zelda's in Houston, Texas. Also playing are Indecision (ex-Yeti Mr.
Tambourine Head's other band, who had just changed their name from Dark Harmony) and Yoda's Love Child. Cow Boris
is grounded and unable to perform at the show. Bookworm makes up lyrics in his place.
1992: August 4 - Dead Yeti plays at Zelda's again alongside August Rane and The Vial Mercenaries. Once again Cow Boris is grounded
         and Bookworm makes up lyrics.
1992: Cow Boris has had it with The Dickless Cowboy and fires him. Chris Henderson leaves shortly afterwards, leaving Bookworm and
Cow Boris as the remaining members. The two soon learn to get used to this coming and going process.
1992: Late August - Your Mother is hired on guitar and Armpit Flowers takes over on bass.
1992: September 11 - Dead Yeti play at Zelda's for the 3rd time.
1992: September - Dead Yeti returns to Night Train Studios to record their 3rd album, 'Herpes With Friends.'
1992: Your Mother proves to be a disappointment and is let go. Stiggy is hired on guitar.
1992: October 16 - Dead Yeti performs at a concert/fundraiser for Spring Oaks Middle School. Indecision also performs. Junior high
girls really like Dead Yeti, we are soon to find out. An onslaught of fan mail pours in for the next year or so. At an abandoned
building that Cow Boris and Bookwormed sneaked into one day, they saw 'Dead Yeti rules' and 'Ben is hot' written on the walls.
They knew they had made it big.
1992: Satan the Overlord tries out for guitar. He is considered 'in the band,' yet DY never hears from him again.
1992: Stiggy is let go. Metal Maniac replaces him on guitar. Armpit Flowers is let go. Incest replaces him on bass.
1993: Metal Maniac is let go 3 weeks later. Dead Yeti has booked a show at Zelda's in March and Mr. Tambourine Head offers to sit in
         on guitar.
1993: March 26 - Dead Yeti plays at Zelda's for the first date on their year-long 'Kill Ozzy Osbourne Tour.' DY plays for 3 hours as one
act has canceled. Show goes incredibly well. Mr. Tambourine Head is begged to stay. Incest doesn't understand why he won't
rejoin. Mr. Tambourine Head starts crying. He refuses to stay.
1993: The Incredible Yummy Eggroll (IYE) joins on guitar. He brings with him a whole new language to the band - one of thrashing
        guitars and dense thinking.
1993: May - DY perform at a talent show at Incest's high school. Mr. Tambourine Head 'really wants to play' with DY, and he does. DY
come in 2nd place and win free meal coupons at 'Lettuce Souprise You.' They are thrilled beyond belief.
1993: May 28 - Dead Yeti plays at Fitzgerald's in Houston, TX alongside Daddylongleg, Social Rupture, Free Beer and Instinctive
        Hesitations.
1993: Incest quits DY shortly after the show. He can't stand the speed metal DY was now playing. Yogurt Troll joins on bass.
1993: August 24 - DY perform at Backstage in Houston, TX as part of 'Thrash Bash '93' alongside their soon-to-be touring buddies
Spiritual Winter, Maelstrom, Judgemental and Psycho Holiday.
1993: September 4 - DY perform at Fitzgerald's alongside Dive, Spiritual Winter, David von Ohlerking, and bodymindsoul.
1993: October 2 - DY perform at Fitzgerald's alongside bodymindsoul, Indecision, and Woody's Jukebox. Shortly after the show, Yogurt
Troll announces his departure to join another band. DY take a hiatus to figure out what to do.
1993: November - Cow Boris and Bookworm step away from DY for awhile and form a side project with Mr. Tambourine Head and Incest called the Be-Bop 5.
1993: November 20 - Be-Bop 5 played their first and only show at a talent show at Incest's high school performing 9 DY songs
(including the unreleased 'Arcadia' and 'One Million Virgins'), a cover of The Cure's 'Just Like Heaven,' the Nestle's crunch theme
song, the Juicy Fruit theme song and the Be-Bop 5 original 'Ball of Guts.'
1994: Bookworm and Cow Boris decide to just not contact IYE about DY's future and find new members. Sir Billy the Ape joins on
guitar and Monkey Boy takes over on bass.
1994: May 13 - DY perform with their strongest lineup yet at Memorial High School's Mustang Bash alongside Stonegate
1994: May 27 - DY headline at Fitzgerald's alongside Stonegate, Biogenesis, and Rawhead Rex
1994: June - DY release their 4th album, 'Operance'
1994: Monkey Boy quits the band, citing too many drugs left to do. Sir Billy the Ape and Bookworm begin practicing without Cow Boris.
They soon decide to leave DY and form another band on their own. A show at Fitzgerald's is still booked, and Cow Boris is
furious. Cow Boris refuses to cancel the show and decides only he can end DY. He begins to assemble a 12 piece band, featuring
two drummers, six guitarists, two bassists and a guy whose job is to fly around the audience in a cape. This band named
themselves Dying Demon featuring Dead Yeti and rehearsed once prior to the show.
1994: Sir Billy the Ape has put degrading messages about the DY show that night, telling listeners to go to the show and watch DY
implode and make a fool of 'himself.' No one had any idea what was about to happen except for Dying Demon.
1994: August 11 - Dying Demon/Dead Yeti headline at Fitzgerald's alongside Rosebud, Social Rupture and Grass Monkey. Dead Yeti
performs one hour long ear-blistering song; Cow Boris spits on the audience, smashes 3 of the club's microphones and just about
sets the stage on fire when his girlfriend brings him a gasoline soaked baseball bat that he lights and waves at the crowd. Dead
Yeti are 'talked to' after the show by the club and asked to reconsider playing at Fitzgerald's again - Cow Boris tells the club to
'suck it.' Dead Yeti are through.
1995: A close friend and huge fan of DY drowns off the coast of Galveston. A benefit show is put together, and as DY was his favorite
local band, Cow Boris is asked to perform. He calls Bookworm and Mr. Tamborine Head who both agree to perform. They hire
another local band's (Stonegate) bassist to fill in on bass. He is dubbed #19. He quits minutes before the band takes the stage
if memory serves. #20, another band's guitarist (bodymindsoul) is hired as his replacement on bass. They perform many classic
DY hits and is the last time DY is to perform. Deceased Sasquatch is a band Cow Boris refuses to discuss, so it won't be
        discussed here either.
2000: After going through some old DY lyrics that were never used, Cow Boris starts thinking about DY a lot. He decides to write and
record a 'solo album' called "Human Head Pizza." The songs were written but the album never takes shape.
2001: Cow Boris enlists Bookworm to play with him for a show. A friend of Cow Boris's plays guitar, while Monkey
Boy returns to play bass. Within 2 weeks both the friend and Monkey Boy have quit. Cow Boris and Bookworm sigh.
2002: Cow Boris goes to see Incest's band at a party in Austin, TX. They discuss reforming Dead Yeti seriously. Apparently a person
that tried out for DY about 10 years ago who now plays with Incest's band is interested in playing guitar. Cow Boris does not
remember this person at all, but thinks it's okay. Apparently this person did not make Dead Yeti. Cow Boris contacts Bookworm
who is ready for the reunion as well. Officially, Dead Yeti is back.
2003: Bookworm goes missing. No one can find him. Dead Yeti on hiatus. Cow Boris starts The Yetidrone up again, as a blog; updated
almost every day. Cow Boris hard at work on his solo album, "Human Head Pizza." Should be out in December 2003.
