The Scoop
Dante himself couldn't have wished for a more perfect bar.
Dimly lit, red walls, out of the ordinary animal skulls, cryptic paintings of
Satan and other sundries make this bar a refreshing welcome to the line of
look-alikes on 6th Street. Tearing a few pages out of the
Casino el Camino handbook, Ed's will succeed due to a few simple facts: very
friendly and humorous staff, a great back patio that connects them to the larger
(but extremely similar in look and feel)
Jackalope, and quite simply one of the best bloody marys I have ever had in
my life.
Ed's can be quite loud, but I'd rather hear the Sex Pistols at that volume than Puff Daddy a few doors down any day.
